Haverling inducts 42 into Honor Society

BATH - The Haverling school district earlier this month inducted 42 junior and senior students into National Honor Society in a ceremony in the high school auditorium.

Membership in the Society is based on scholarship, character, leadership, and service. The organization is sponsored by the National Secondary School Principals.

Chapter President Ashley Dungan presided at the ceremony, with the roll call of members completed by Megan Archer, secretary. Vice- President Derrek Stark, read the list of inductees, and presentations describing their leadership, scholarship, character and service were given by Chelsea Adams, Heather Peek, Nicole Barber and Lauren Sinclair-Butler

Guest speaker for the evening was Mr. Gary Pruyn, while music was performed by Derrek Stark on the piano and Heather Peek on the French Horn playing "Concerto for Horn and Piano."

The new inducted members are:
