Ervin and Vivian Stanton

Ervin and Vivian (Cole) Stanton of Prattsburgh will celebrate their 65th anniversary Feb. 6.

They were married Feb. 6, 1942 at the Presbyterian Church in Prattsburgh with Rev. Rodish officiating.

Ervin is a farmer and is the former superintendent of highways for Steuben County. Vivian is a homemaker.

Both are members of the United Methodist Church of Prattsburgh and Prattsburgh Senior Citizens. Ervin is a member of the Prattsburgh Rotary and a long time horseshoe player.

They have three children, Charlotte (Denny) Day of Prattsburgh, Joyce (Robert) Stevens of Bath, and Jerry Stanton of Prattsburgh. Ervin and Vivian are also the proud grandparents of four grandchildren, Gary Day of Rochester; Lucas Day of Bath, Mark (Emily) Stevens of Albany and Laura Stevens of Albany.
