Gary L. Peck
CAMPBELL - Gary L. Peck age 60 of Wolf Run Rd, Campbell, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Feb. 11.

Gary was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania the son of Berton and Mary Hawkins Peck.

He attended Williamsport area schools, and was a graduate of Williamsport Area Community College, and Elmira College, earning his Bachelors Degree. In Dec. of 1967 he married the love of his life, Barbara in Williamsport. Gary was a retired Senior Systems Analyst for Corning Incorporated IT, with 39 years of service. He served in the Army Reserves for 9 years. Gary was involved in many community activities with his family, and enjoyed retirement (everyday is Saturday), hunting, fishing, reading, making wine, the Yankees and kayaking.

Surviving Gary is his wife Barbara, daughters; Sarah of Niskayuna, and Amanda of Naples, Florida, his mother Mary L. Peck of Williamsport, b r o t h e r Timothy (Patricia) Peck of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, several nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles. Gary leaves behind many good friends including the Monday morning Breakfast Club.

He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Kibbler.

Calling hours for Gary were held at Carpenters Funeral Home in Corning on Friday, Feb. 16 from 3-6 p.m. Final services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers those wishing may send memorial donations in Gary's name to Save the St. Lawrence River Fund, Clayton, New York.
