St. Mary's to host 2007 Lenten series
Saint Mary's Parish in Bath has begun a Lenten Spiritual Enrichment Series during Lent.

The year's series - "Stewardship - A Way of Life." will explore how God's gifts have been given, not merely for our own gratification, but to be shared.

Each evening begins with Stations of the Cross at 5 p.m. and Mass at 5:30 p.m. followed by a community dinner at 6:15 p.m. At 6:45 p.m. Church choirs and soloists from throughout the Bath area will offer music and prayer. Programs and speakers follow at 7:00 p.m. The programs conclude by 8:30 p.m.

Speaker: Deacon Ray Defendorf, pastoral administrator at St. Mary's, Bath

Viewing and Discussion of this award winning film on global warming and our stewardship of the planet Wednesday, March 14

"What Does it Mean to be a Disciple of Christ?"

Wednesday, March 21

"Stewardship Returning your Treasure to God"

Speaker: Mr. Mark Clark, director of stewardship, Diocese of Rochester

Tuesday, March 27 (Note day change)

"Mother Theresa - A Lifetime of Stewardship" Speaker: Linda Schaefer, nationally known speaker and author of "Come and See" a photojournalist's journey into the world of Mother Theresa. In preparing her book, Ms. Schaefer spent a year with Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church is located at 32 East Morris Street in Bath. A free will offering will be received for all Lenten Suppers. For more information call 776-3327.
