Bath BPW offering two scholarships

Applications for two scholarships sponsored by the the Bath Business and Professional Women's Club are due by April 6.

The group's High School Graduate Scholarship is intended to assist current high school women who plan to attend college and pursue a degree in a business or professional field.

Continuing Education Scholarship supports women returning to the business or professional field who need additional education.

Applications require:

+ Three letters of recommendation, from a personal source, an educational source and an employment or volunteer source.

+ A personal statement, typed, up to 500 words and

including an evaluation of past accomplishments, the type of business or professional career desired, goals for the year and mid-range future, and the need for financial assistance.
