Learn how to run for your school board

BATH - The Steuben Greens will host an instructional progream on how to run for school board in Steuben County at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Thomas Church, 121 Liberty St.

Jim Loomis, a school board member in Van Etten, will speak about what school board members do, review the steps that must be taken to run for the office, talk about why they choose to serve and answer questions from the audience. Both Celli and Loomis are running for school board this year.

The program is free and open to the public. There will be time for discussion following the presentation.
