Dormann sponsors poetry contest

The Friends of the Dormann Library is sponsoring a poetry writing contest for high school students writing the best original poems. Students will be judged in grade levels 9, 10, 11 and 12. Entries are available at the Dormann Library and from David Fiedler at the Haverling High School.

All entries must be legible and neat. Entries may be turned in at the library or at the high school.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday, April 18. Winners will be contacted by Monday, April 23. Prizes will be awarded at the library at a pizza party for the winners from 6-7:30 p.m.Winning entries will be read aloud by the students. All area high school students are invited to enter. This is the second year of the Friends poetry writing contest. For additional information, call Mary-Ann Robinson at 776-6344
