LaVerne Ashley Conrad

ADDISON - LaVerne Ashley Conrad, age 48, of Addison, and formerly of Elkland, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, March 28 in Nelson, Pennsylvania. LaVerne was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He was the husband of Raven LaVon (Brooks) Conrad for 25 years. LaVerne was born on Sept. 26, 1958 in Elmira, a son of Lemoin and Aleta (Burgget) Shelton. LaVerne was a self employed contractor.

LaVerne is survived by his wife Raven LaVon Conrad, 5 daughters and sons-in-law; Kathryn and Travis Leiphart of Great Lakes, Illinois, Angela and John Clark of Knoxville, Pennsylvania, Valerie and Aaron Marsiglio of Elkland, Pennsylvania, Sapphire Conrad of Addison, Francesca Conrad of Addison, 2 sons and a daughter-in-law David and Jackie Smalt of Bath, Faron Smalt and fiancé Shari Smith of Bath, thirteen grandchildren, father and step mother Lemoin and Shirley Conrad of Tioga, Pennsylvania, mother and step-father Aleta and Michael Shelton of Ottis Orchards, Washington, 2 sisters Christine Watkins of Pickton, Texas, Deanna Jones of Mansfield, Pennsylvania, an adopted son David Liberman of Bath, and hundreds of friends who miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, Pennsylvania.
