Bath girls win second straight
THE LEADER STAFF

BATH - Adriane Ingersoll scored the gamewinning run in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday, April 3, leading Bath Haverling's softball team to a 3-2 win against Keshequa and open the season at 2-0. With two outs in the seventh,

Ingersoll reached third base with a triple and Rachel Moore legged out an infield single to plate Ingersoll and end the game. Monday, April 2, Bath

opened the season by scoring 27 runs, and Tuesday was forced to eke out a victory.

"It was totally opposite from the other night. I

thought we did really well to squeak this one out and defensively we played much better today," said Bath coach Kevin Furness. Kristen Haight scattered

six hits, struck out five and walked one for the Rams and Courtney Fuller drove in a run. Haverling won't play again until April 16.
