Bath appoints assessor
By ROB PRICE THE COURIER-ADVOCATE

BATH - The Bath town board last week unanimously approved the appointment of Vicky Adriance, a former data collector for the Corning city assessor's office, as assessor for the Town of Bath.

Adriance's appointment fills the remainder of former Assessor Sandy Porter's term, which expires Dec. 31. She will be paid $28,000 annually, according to town Supervisor Fred Muller.

Adriance worked for four years as a contract employee in the Corning city assessor's office, focusing on the verification of current sales figures and building permitrelated construction. Prior to her employment in Corning, she worked for an appraisal company in Elmira. She is a graduate of Mansfield University with a bachlor's degree in business administration.

The Bath assessor's office is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located in the municipal building on Liberty Street. A morning and afternoon assistant also is present in the office.
