Margaret Davy Mulhair

BATH - Margaret Davy Mulhair, 79, of East Washington Street, Bath died Thursday, April 12 at home. She was born on the Island of Macau May 12, 1927 the daughter of John and Maria de Mendonca. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Women's Auxilliary Post 173 and Past President of the Auxiliary in 1985. Margaret was a member of the Bath VFW Auxilliary 1470 and Eight and Forty. Margaret is on the Wall of Fame in Bath for Volunteering at the Bath V.A.M.C.

She is survived by her husband George Mulhair; two daughters, Maria C.(Paul) Bauter of Avoca and Rosalie A.(Michael) McCartney of Bath, one son, Stephen G.(Nancy) Dav y o f Prattsburgh, grandchildren, Fred and Stacey Davy, Michael Davy, Carolyn Hess, Mark and Kristina Bauter and John McCartney; three great grandchildren and her daughter-in-law, Margie Davy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, John Mendonca, sister, Sylvia Wright, and her son Richard J. Davy.

Friends may call on Monday, April 16 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jay LaScolea officiating. A graveside service will be held at the Bath National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Margaret's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1316 College Avenue, Elmira, NY 14901, Corning Hospital, 176 Denison Parkway E, Corning, NY14830 or the Charles E. Wescott American Legion 173 Scholarship Fund, 14 West William Street, Bath, NY 14810.
