Anita L. Leonard

SAVONA - Anita L. Leonard, 97, of Round Lake Road, died Thursday, April 12 at the Steuben Health Care Facility in Bath.

She was born Feb. 2, 1910 in Rexville to John E. and Marion Grenolds Hauber.

She was a graduate of Taylor University and Rochester Dental School. She was the manager of the Donanita Herford Farm with her husband for 50 years, member of the Savona Federated Church, VP of Cowbells Beef Cattle Assoc., 4H and Grange.

Survivors include her daughter Carol (Jerred) Pierpont of Savona, son-in-law Robert Morgan of Savona, grandchildren Lois Hunt, Renee Whitcomb, Julie Rooks, Kelie Rumberger, Don Hunt, Frank Johnson, 18 great granchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband J. Donald Leonard, daughter Lois Morgan, sister Eleanor Northrup, brother Sherman Hauber.

Friends called at the Seager Funeral Home, Main Street, Savona, Monday, April 16, from 2-4 p.m.

Memorial Services were held on Monday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the Savona Federated Church, Savona, the Rev. Ron Huckabone officiating. Burial will be in Seamens Cemetery, Savona.
