16th Lisi Youth dinner set for May 4

BATH - The Jack Lisi Youth Award winners have been selected and will be honored a the 16th annual Jack Lisi Youth Award Banquet at 6:30 p.m. May 4 at the Hornell Knights of Columbus.

Eight award recipients were selected from 30 candidates. The nomination pool consisted of high school students and representatives from two learning centers, two colleges and 16 municipalities across Steuben County. Jack Lisi Award winners are cited for their determination to overcome severe economic and/or social obstacles.

Tickets for the May 4 dinner are available at the Corning Area Youth Center, the Courier-Advocate office in Bath and the Hornell Concern for Youth. For more information or reservations, call the Steuben County Youth Bureau at 664-2119.
