Serving community for 35 years
Guy McGlynn, supervisor of underground lines and maintenance department at Bath Electric, Gas and Water Systems, is pictured above with Matthew Benesh, director of municipal utilities for BEGW. McGlynn, a 35 year employee of the public utility, is the subject of an admiring essay in the current issue of Aquafacts, the official publication of the New York Rural Water Association. The essay notes McGlynn was one of the first water operators in the area to obtain a water operator's license. He also serves as an officer on the board of The Southern Tier New York Water Works Operator's Conference. Outside of BEGW, McGlynn has served as Past Exalted Ruler of the Bath Elks Club; he also is a member of the Wild Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited.
