BATH - Vendors with hard-to-resist home and farm equipment; scrumptious meals and snacks; cooking demos and lessons; classic antique cars, and lots of music...

The 2007 Home and Recreation Show, located on the Steuben County Fairgrounds and sponsored by The Steuben Courier- Advocate, has something for everyone, especially dozens of vendors offering the latest in home, recreation and farm merchandise. Their stands will also offer siding, gutters, real estate, financing and energy products.

The festival begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 19 with a Bath Rotary Club pancake breakfast and continues through 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20. Chicken barbecues will be available each afternoon, along with hots, hamburgers and sugar waffles.

And then there's the music.

The Irish band Kilrush will perform Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., joined by the dance troupe Ring of Ciarraighe. Also on Saturday, the Boogey Men Unplugged band will perform from 1 to 4 p.m., offering its unique blend of high energy, bluesy rock and roll.

The good times continue Sunday with the Bath Rotary Club serving up more pancakes. There also will be hay wagon rides, a polka concert by Les Kocianski and recorded music courtesy of Ultimate Sound and Lights. The musical recordings will accompany the 2007 Classic Car Show, sponsored by Bath Napa Auto Parts and Machuga Contracting. Your vintage autos may be registered at the Napa store on Lackawanna Ave. from 10 to 11 a.m. The classic vehicles and their drivers will make their way to the fairgrounds, with trophies to be awarded later in the afternoon.

Stop by the fairgrounds and enjoy the festivities.
