P-burgh explodes for 24 runs
THE LEADER STAFF

PRATTSBURGH - Prattsburgh earned its first softball win of the season with a 24-11 win over Canaseraga Friday, April 27, at a game moved to Prattsburgh due to field conditions.

Patty Turner, Amanda Brouwere and Meghan Derick did the brunt of the damage as Turner had three hits and six RBI, followed by Brouwere (three hits, three RBI, five runs scored) and Derick (two hits, five RBI and four runs scored).

"We put people on base and it paid off today," said Prattsburgh coach Joel Pinckney. "Patty Turner and her six RBIs really delivered when we needed her to."

Canaseraga was led by Kylee Harvey's 2-for-3 day at the plate and four runs scored by Stephanie New.
