Dennis E. Pierce

BATH - Dennis E. Pierce passed away unexpectedly May 7 of complications from diabetes. Dennis was predeceased by his father, Marvin E. Pierce.

He is survived by his son, Zachary Pierce of Hammondsport, his mother Alleen Pierce of Rapid City, South Dakota, his sisters: Sharon (Dan) Murphy of Evergreen, Colorado; Mary Beth (Craig) Pryde of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; Carmel (Kurt) Boatright of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Maureen (Todd) Hillard of Rapid City, South Dakota and one brother, Brad (Karen) Pierce of Mesa, Arizona and 14 nieces and nephews, along with many good friends.

Dennis was born in Iowa Nov. 9, 1951 but moved to Boulder, Colorado where he graduated from Boulder High School and continued his education at Colorado University in Fort Collins, Colorado. While living in the Finger Lakes area Dennis owned and operated a computer buisness, Bolder Computer Solutions. Dennis participated in Little League as an umpire for all levels and Cub Scouting as a Den Leader and then as Treasurer for Pack 18 of Hammondsport. Dennis will be missed by all who befriended him.

A memorial service will be held at St. James Church in Hammondsport at 10 a.m. May 19.
