Four generations

Four generations celebrated Esther Casey's 95th birthday on April 7, 2007. Seated left to right is Esther, her son Brian Casey, his daughter Sarah and her daughters, Lillian, 8 years and Alison, 4 years.

Esther was born on an actual Easter Sunday, April 7, 1912. Amazingly, her birthday has only fallen on Easter Sunday twice since birth, April 1985 and April 1996.

Daughter-in-law Gretchen states that in checking with the World Almanac, Esther's birthday will not fall on an Easter Sunday again until April 7, 2075. Brian and family moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1986. Esther moved to Raleigh in 2003 and lives in SunRise Assisted Living, two miles from both Brian and her grandchildren.
