Honoring those who served
Pictured above, Jason Miller of Savona and Savona firefighter Carl Overheiser stand beside the newly reconstructed armed services honor roll, unveiled during last week's Memorial Day services. A previous honor roll was destroyed in a fire, and the new honor roll was reconstructed based solely on a photo of the previous roll. Names of Savona residents currently serving in the services have been included. Call 583-2620 with detailed instructions to have a new name added.
