Edgar Whitford Potter

WILSON, NORTH CAROLINA - Edgar W. Potter passed away unexpectedly May 2 at home, predeceased by his brothers Herman Rose Potter Jr. and William Chillian Potter, sister Ruth Marie Potter and his parents Herman Rose Potter and Josie Carrie Hyna Potter.

He is survived by brothers, Franklin G. Potter of Gainsville, Alton G. Potter of Savona, Kenneth L. Potter of Warsaw; sisters, Dorothy L. Andrews of St. Cloud, Florida, Nellie E. Lacey of Bath, Frances C. Wright of Elmira, Janice Joyce Potter of Elmira, and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Wheeler March 16, 1934 and went to school in Prattsburgh. Married and moved to Sodas Bay and loved and worked for many years. He retired and moved to Wilson, North Carolina and lived for 11 years.

He is also survived by his second wife Carol Potter. His first wife Ruth Tellinghast predeceased him.

Services were held at 1 p.m. May 12 at the Kingdom Hall, 1423 Forest Hills Rd., Wilson, North Carolina.
