George J. Leamon Jr.

BATH - George J. Leamon Jr. passed away May 23 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was born in Fort Bening, Georgia, on Dec. 19, 1955, the son of George J. Leamon Sr. and Ema Firsch.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Leamon of Bath; his son, Jake Leamon of Tioga; two daughters, Cheree' Leamon of Pemberton, New Jersey, and Jenny Leamon of Pemberton, New Jersey; two stepsons, James Minervini of Bath, and Martin (Leslie) Minervini of Oakhurst, New Jersey; two sisters, Nora Leaman of Cookstown, New Jersey, and Sissy Leamon of Cookstown, New Jersey; brother, Greg Leamon of Florida; sister Diane (Robert) Tress of New Egypt, New Jersey, his first wife Edith Oelschlager of Penberton, New Jersey, grandchildren Desirae Barnes, Vanessa and Valerie Allen, Owen Roberts of Pemberton, New Jersey, Jakob and Derek Minervini of Bath, five nieces and four nephews.

Calling hours were observed on Tuesday, May 29 from 1-3 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 30 from 10-11 a.m. at the Bond- Davis Funeral Home of Bath, where his Funeral Service was held at the conclusion of calling hours on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Deacon Ray Defendorf officiating. His burial was held in Holy Sepulchre Roman Catholic Cemetery.
