+ Today, Sunday, June 17, is Father's Day when we turn our thoughts and hearts toward our father's just as we did last month on a special Mother's Day. + June 12 Wine Country Senior Citizens enjoyed a dish-to-pass dinner in the social rooms at the First United Methodist Church, Shethar Street. In charge of the meal was Louis and Louise Webster.

+ Hammondsport Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 14 at 8 a.m. All members are asked to attend this last pre summer meeting.

+ The Keuka Lake Association which has an office in Hammondsport, this year has the following Directors and Oficers: President, Bob Warden with President-elect Bill Feinstein; Treasurer: Jim Stork, Secretary: Lucy Knap. $133.33 the parish made when they received their share of the Operation Rice Bowl monies collected during Lent: "The members of the Board of Loafs and Fishes Pantry thank you for your contribution to the Food Pantry. Last year we served 464 Households; 607 children; 889 adults and 111 seniors. Last November we served 40 families with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving; packed 100 large boxes for Christmas in addition of serving 24 families in December. + First United Methodist Church, lower Lake St. Monday, June 25, the Community Vacation Bible School begins at the Methodist Church. "Take the Plunge and Make a Splsh with Jesus." There will be a water park and Bible adventure the kids will love. Teens/adults wishing to help, let Hene Barone know at 569-2093. Children, teachers and adults all working together for this ecumenical Bible School running through June 29.
