Delores "Dee" A. Kirch

BATH - Dolores A. Kirch, age 72, of Bath, went to be the Lord on June 7.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sept. 29, 1934, the fifth of seven children of Walter and Blanch Franks Bates. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with family and listening to Classical music. She was a member of the Women's Trust Group.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Kirch of The Homestead in Penn Yan, her daughter, Rebecca (William Jr.) Thompson of Bath, son, Joel (Christine) Kirch of Chesapeake, Virginia; five grandchildren, Eric and Nathan Kirch and Colden, Emma and Carter Thompson; sisters and brothers, Walter Bates, Mary (Joe) Styer, Shirley Horning, Nancy (Harry) Anthony and Tom (Joan) Shoemaker, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Leda and Jack. She was predeceased by her parents and brother David Bates.

Friends called on Monday, June 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath with a Memorial Service that followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral Home with Reverend Sandra Curtis officiating.
