Theodore Miles Smith

SAVONA - Theodore Miles Smith, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on June 18.

He was born Sept. 2, 1960, son of Leslie J. and Jeanette Smith, Sr.

He was an avid outdoorsman, fishman, and loved camping and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather/Papa. He was there to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Woodworking was his second nature. He was employed as a cook for ten years in several restaurants including Club Valentine. He also worked for Phillips' Lighting in Bath for 15 years. He will be missed by all, very, very much and always remembered.

He is survived by his wife of 25 memorable years, Tammy (Wilson) Smith of Savona; two daughters, Stacy (Jamie) Wilsoncroft of Pennsylvania, Holly (Aaron) Soles of Jamestown; one son, Eric Smith of Albion; grandchildren, Ariel Wilson, Austin Soles and Ethan Soles; also four brothers, Leslie "Skip" (Janice) Smith, Jr. of Avoca, Joseph (Terri) Smith of Scio, Mike (Penny) Smith of Bath, Tom (Melody) Smith of Lima; three sisters, Deb (Chuck) Novakowski of Elmira and Patricia (Matt) Smith of Bath; also many special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends; father-in-law, Gary-Red (Edith) Wilson of Bath, and mother-in-law, Bonnie (Butch) Walrath of New Hampshire.

He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Jeanette; paternal grandparents, John and Mary Smith.

Calling hours were held Friday, June 22, at the Seager-Jones Funeral Home, 4 East Washington Street, Bath, from 4-6 p.m. with Funeral Service following at 6 p.m. Rev. Howard Armstrong officiated.
