H-port students receive awards for spring sports

The Athletic Awards Program was held June 8, 2007. The following athletes received awards for their performance during the spring sport season:

Baseball: Most improved JV player,Mitchell Obrochta; Milt vonHagn Award, Kane McAfee; MVP - Defensive Player, Ryan King; MVP - Offensive Player, Sean Burns.

Softball: Most improved JV player, Charlene Drake; MVP - Defensive Player, Audrey Shippee; MVP - Offensive Player, Kelly Walling.

Boy's Track: School record most improved, Ethan Burke; Most Outstanding, Steve Bailey.

Girl's Track: Sc hool record 800M in 2:34.0 minutes, Brooke Gordon; Pentathlon pts., Most Improved, Brynn Day; Most outstanding, Brooke Gordon.

Boy's Tennis: Most Improved, Chris Haluszczak; Most Outstanding, Josh Malone.

Golf: Most Outstanding, Kyle Baird.
