RSVP seeking volunteers

+Office for Aging's Ombudsman program needs several volunteers to advocate for seniors in long term care facilities. Must attend 36 hours of training. Can set own hours after training is provided.

+Ira Davenport Hospital needs several volunteers to assist in the gift shop, to photocopy patient records, and to deliver mail. Volunteers needed for 3-4 hour shifts Monday through Friday.

+Area Nursing Homes need several volunteers to escort residents on outings, transport residents to and from programs, to visit with residents in their rooms, or to entertain during meals.

+Health Ministry of the Southern Tier needs several volunteer nurses to screen patients' blood pressure, weight, etc. for a 2-1/2 hour shift once per month.

+Briarcliff Home needs a piano player to entertain residents on occasion.

+Greater Bath Area Chamber of Commerce needs several volunteers to assist tourists at the information booth. Must be a "people person."
