Reva McConnell Champlin PRATTSBURGH - Reva McConnell Champlin, age 88, of Prattsburgh, died Wednesday, July 04 at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath. Friends and family called at the Bottoni-Wood Funeral Home, 4 Mechanic St., Prattsburgh on Friday, July 6, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., her funeral service was held at the conclusion of calling hours at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Kate Benton, officiating. Interment followed at Prattsburgh Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609-5896; the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220- 3049; or to the Prattsburgh Fire Dept., 15 Allis St., Prattsburgh, NY 14873. Reva was born in Pulteney on Feb. 28, 1919 the daughter of the late Lyle Ezra and Della Cooke McConnell. She was employed with Taylor's Vineyards, Mercury Aircraft, and as a switch board operator with Hammondsport Telephone Co. She collected cups and saucers and glass slippers. She also enjoyed working with her hands, doing crafts, quilting, and her miniature rooms. Reva is survived by her daughters, Dolores Billings of Prattsburgh, Delilah (Ernie) Schutz of Prattsburgh, Dorothy (Randy) Robertson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor (Charles) Moesch and Mary Joseph; sister-in-law, Deloris McConnell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
