Air traffic controller lauds Kuhl
To the Editor,

I want to let your readership know how much my fellow air traffic controllers and I appreciate that Congressman Randy Kuhl stood up against his own Republican leadership and the White House to cast a tough vote for the restoration of our collective bargaining rights. The FAA unilaterally imposed work and pay rules on controllers last Labor Day weekend, exacerbating a critical staffing shortage that threatens the safety and efficiency of our skies.

I would like to thank Congressman Kuhl for putting politics aside, demonstrating his independence, and acting on behalf of the safety of the flying public by voting to protect our right to fair contract negotiations that will stem the tide of controller retirements and stabilize the controller workforce. Thank your Representative Kuhl.
