Steuben County Fair to feature talent show

BATH - Last year's Steuben County Fair included the first-time ever talent show that attracted musical and other kinds of acts from across the county.

Fair organizers are looking again for talented performers to appear in this year's talent contest, scheduled for Aug. 16 at the Steuben County Fairgrounds.

The competition will feature two main groups: performers 13 years and older and 12- year and younger musical stars. Contestants must be strictly amateur, and each contestant may perform up to three times: in one solo performance and as a member of up to two separate groups or as a member of three groups with no solo performance.

Additional rules, as well as application forms are available by contacting the county fair office at 776-4801 from 9 a.m. to noon. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Aug. 3.
