Rachel F. Slater

CHAGRIN FALLS, OHIO - Rachel F. Slater passed away June 9, 2007 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

She was born April 9, 1919 in Union Township, Ohio. Rachel was a graduate of Denison University and taught at Granville Ohio High School.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Carl and her daughter Ellen both of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Rachel is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Rachel was predeceased by her parents Karl and Rachel Foster and her brothers Karl Jr., James and Frederick.

A graveside service conducted by Pastor Larry Slater will be held at 10 a.m. July 21 in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport.

In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made in Rachel's name to the United Methodist Church, 20 South Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44022.
