Hospital is an unrecognized gem

To the Editor,

One Friday evening recently I had to take my husband to the Ira Davenport Emergency Room, not for his first visit there. As before, I was again impressed by the professionalism and compassion of Dr. Saraf and the ER staff including the nurses, Radiology, Laboratory and administrative employees. He was admitted to the second floor and during his five day stay, the charge nurses, nurses, food service and housekeeping staff treated him with care and caring. Then Monday came, as did Dr. Mirza and Dr. Waheed. How glad we were to see them both.

I don't know that folks in this and surrounding communities know how fortunate we are to have this hospital available.
