Rosko's lead Twin Rivers HORNELL - As the Twin Rivers Track Club completed in it's final tune up for this Saturdays' S.T.T.A. Summer League championship Megan and Regena Rosko, daughter and mother, combined for three first place finishes and a second place finish to lead the TRTC. Megan, competing in the 15-16 age division finished first in the girls shot put and 400 meter run, and added a second place finish in the 100 meter sprint. Regena Rosko threw to a first place finish in the women's sub-master shot put. In the 8 and under division John Lyons, Derick Bukley, Christen Wise and Bryan Wakefield combined to place first in the boys 400 relay. In the 9 to 10 age division Brenna Lyons placed second in the 100 sprint and 3000 meter run and also took a third place in the 50 meter sprint. Sarah Vonderchek took a second place finish in the 50 meter sprint and third place in both the 100 and 400 meter races. In the 11 to 12 division Ashley Russell places second in the 100 sprint and first in the 400 run. Ashley then teamed up with Hannah Holmok, Rachel Hamilton and Caitlin Cook to win the girls 400 meter relay. In the men's open division Brett Rosko ran to a second place finish in the 400 run and a forth place finish in the 3000 meter run. In the men's sub-master division Kevin Rosko threw to a first place finish in the shot put. The Twin River Track Club finished their season this last Saturday as they competed in the S.T.T.A Summer League championship meet. The meet started at 9:15 a.m. and was switched from the Canisteo- Greenwood School track to the Hornell High School track due to the C-G school districts' budget defeat. |
