Bath needs growth from Wal-Mart
What do you think Walmart will do for us? Well, Keuka Lake is just down the road from us. Where do you think the people who come here for vacation will be spending their money on things that they need? They can come to the Bath Walmart store and not have to drive to Painted Post, Hornell, Watkins Glen or further. Their money will be coming to our town because of the taxes that Walmart will be paying. It will boost our town and village and will not destroy our community like so many of you seem to think. Watkins Glen didn't want a Walmart but those same people that complained are glad to see one now.

I know some of you don't like to see change, but Bath needs the growth. We have many looking for jobs in a job market that is very slow at the moment. This will give those people a chance to get a job here in our community.

Please give our area a chance to grow and for many of our community residents to get employment there.
