60th anniversary

L. Flo Hoak Dewey and Rev. Dr. Keith M. Dewey were married sixty years on June 28, 2007. They have known each other since fifth grade and graduated Gaines High School June 1945 in a class of ten.

Natives of Pennsylvania, they have lived in New Mexico, New Jersey and New York. The Deweys have seven adult children and fifteen grandchildren. Dr. Dewey is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church with pastorates in Niagara Falls and Rochester among others. He also was a Chaplain (Captain) in the U.S. Army Reserves and an English teacher for 20 years in the Rochester City School District. He retired from education in 1986 and from the church in 1990. They have resided in Bath since 1990.
