THURSTON - Two people were injured Thursday night, July 26, when two cars collided on County Route 11.

Barry T. Hoad, 40, of Addison, and Andrea M. Barlow, 21, of Bath, were treated and released from area hospitals after their cars collided around 10:10 p.m. Thursday.

According to Steuben County Sheriff's deputies, Hoad was traveling north on County Route 11 near the intersection of Bonnie Hill Road. At the same time, Barlow was driving south-bound when her car crossed the center line and struck Hoad's vehicle.

Hoad's vehicle spun, rolled over once and landed upright. Barlow's vehicle left the roadway and came to rest at the bottom of an embankment.

Barlow was taken by ambulance to Corning Hospital where she was treated and released.

Hoad was airlifted to Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, where he was treated for a head injury. He was released from the hospital Friday morning.

No charges have been filed and the accident investigation is on going.
