Thomas Lee Hunter

GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA - Thomas Lee Hunter, age 65, resident of Gainesville, Florida area for the past 20 years, passed away July 27, at the Bath Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was born in Bath, June 7, 1942, the son of Robert and Elizabeth Husted Hunter. He was a self employed Contractor in the Keuka Lake and Hammondsport area and a Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Hunter of Florida; sons, Robert Hunter of Rochester, John Hunter of Portland, Oregon, David Hunter of Florida and Thomas Hunter of Florida; two sisters, Sally (Richard) Schultz of Bath and Iloe (Thomas) Farrer of Mansfield, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Robert (Helen) Hunter of Massachusetts, Bryan (Helen) Hunter of Bath and David (Judy) Hunter of Bath and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Donald and John and sister Judy Prescott.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 8 at 2 p.m. at the VA Union Chapel in Bath, with Reverend John Wydeven as celebrant. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Bath National Cemetery following the services.
