Beware of Bush wielding martial law Recently, amid the captivating hullabaloo of naming Anna Nicole Smith's baby's father, the media (virtually all of mainstream media) somehow managed to let a noteworthy political event slip by unreported. May 9th, President George W. Bush signed into law two executive directives: N.S.P.D. #51 and H.S.P.D. #20 (respectively: National and Homeland Security Directives). Within these directives the President is granted sole discretion to declare any (environmental or manmade) emergency to be an event involving (jeopardizing) the national security of America…Once again, the Devil lurks with in the details: Upon declaration of said "National Emergency," our Commander-in Chief automatically assumes the right and authority to annul the Bill of Rights and the entire U.S. Constitution, suspend indefinitely all federal and state elections and assume all powers and responsibilities for all legal and economic decisions for all government agencies, corporations, businesses, organizations and tribal affairs for all citizens, environs and protectorates of the Republic of the United States of America. By the way, parts of these directives remain classified. On line? Go to www.worldnetdaily.com and read what Jerome Corsi has to say. I urge you not to dismiss this out-ofhand and out-of-mind just because it sounds like a cheap Hollywood thriller and/or your trusted news venue has never even mentioned it. Martial Law is not something you can turn off at bedtime. Larry D. Cook Bath, NY |
