Savona Old Home Days begins Friday

SAVONA - Savona's Old Home Days kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday with a teenage dance to celebrate Junior Firefighters' Night. The dance is a fundraiser for the Savona Junior Fire Department and costs $3 for ages 12-18. Hosted by a professional DJ, the dance will be held in the village park from 6 to 8 p.m.

Old Home Days continues Saturday with hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), amusements for children, a chicken barbecue and a classic car show. White Mustache will perform in concert from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the celebration will close with fireworks at about 10 p.m.
