Alton Bernard Cranmer "Bernie"

BATH - Alton Bernard Cranmer (Bernie), 74, of West Washington Street, died Sunday, August 12, at his home.

He was born April 30, 1933 in Avoca to Archie and Ethel Moss Cranmer.

He was a 60 year employee of the Babcock Ladder of Bath. He was a former Elk and Mason, and an avid outdoorsman and a lifetime resident of Bath. A graduate of Haverling High School and devoted to his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene House Cranmer; two sisters, Sharon (Steu) Selegman of Virginia and Elverna (Fred Bills) Silbaugh of Bath; several nieces and nephews.

Friends called at the Seager-Jones Funeral Home, 4 E. Washington Street, Bath, Tuesday, August 14 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services were held at the Funeral Home Wednesday, August 15 at 2 p.m.

Burial was held in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath.
