Lakeview Walkway project appreciated
To the Editor:

I live in the Lakeview Apartments and have lived there for many years. We have tenants here who are handicapped. They use canes, walkers and scooters but are unable to go shopping because of weather conditions.

A few months ago, a group of people who really care, have put down a cement walk (called the Lakeview Walkway). It extends from Lakeview to the Save-A-Lot parking lot. They have also put up a gazebo.

That night, I went for my walk. When I reached the parking lot (at Save-A-Lot), I turned around and looked down the walk. What a beautiful sight, all because someone cared. I am grateful for the efforts of the Bath Rotary Club, students from BOCES and volunteers. You're great!
