Bath man dies in rodeo accident
FROM STAFF REPORTS

WILSON
BATH - The family of Paul J. Wilson III last week held a private funeral service at Centenary United Methodist Church following Wilson's sudden death from a fall in a rodeo in Pennsylvania.

Wilson, the owner of Lake Country Estates in Bath, struck his head on a steel beam that was part of a chute used to guide riders and bulls. A Guthrie Air helicopter transported the unconscious Wilson to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, where he was pronounced dead.

Wilson was an avid horseman and particularly enjoyed participating in rodeo events. He also was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed woodworking and carpentry. A former Boy Scout leader, he also belonged to the Bath Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife Susan, his parents, Paul and Lois Wilson, four children, and numerous relatives. His family welcomed friends at the Lake Country Estates Club House following his funeral service.

A full obituary appears on page 15 of today's Courier.
