Wanda K. (Brace) Coleman THURSTON - Wanda K. (Brace) Coleman, 73 formerly of Caton went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 24, at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Wanda was born April 25, 1934, in Caton, the daughter of George H. and Kathleen A. (Sweetland) Brace. She became the wife of Ray D. Coleman on July 5, 1958. He predeceased her Sept. 14, 2000. Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed camping, picnics, going to the lake, the mountains and country music. She just enjoyed doing everything with her family. Surviving Wanda are her two daughters, Sharon (Scott) Devine of Thurston and Brenda Wood of Corning; a very special grand-daughter, Tara Wood of Corning; a sister, Dawn (Milton) Allen of Charlotte, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews along with her faithful canine companion, Fred. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Clayton, Raymond, Earl, Ronald and her husband. Family and friends were invited to call at Acly-Stover Funeral Home, Corning on Tuesday, August 28, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services followed calling hours at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
