Haverling advances at Keuka Classic
THE LEADER STAFF

BATH - Justin Brown and Lucas Wales each tallied two goals and an assist Thursday, August 30, to ignite the Bath Haverling boys soccer team in a 4-0 shutout of Campbell-Savona in the opening round of the Keuka Classic.

Sam Robbins and Jason Carpenter each tacked on an assist for the Rams, while teammate Mike Rossi turned back five shots in goal to preserve the shutout.

Campbell-Savona's Brett Jones was tested early and often and recorded 11 saves.

"I thought we picked it up and played better in the second half," Bath head coach Matt Hill said. "We created a few more chances. Brett Jones played a great game - he made a lot of point-blank saves."
