Although it receives less coverage in the United States than other sports, it is one of the most popular sports in the world. It is football, or soccer as it is known in the United States, and there have been many greats who have played the game over the years. Whether you are a huge fan of the sport and have followed it for years or are just starting to become interested in it, here is a short list of accomplishments of some of the best soccer players in the history of the sport.
