Hammondsport book sale raises $$$

HAMMONDSPORT - The summer book sale sponsored by the Fred and harriet Taylor Library raised $3,398 for the library.

The next book sale at the new public library will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 8 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 9.

Book donations will be accepted anytime during open hours.

The library's Book Discussion Group meets on the second Monday of the month in the Robinson Room at the library. New members are always welcome. Here are the dates and selections for Fall:

September 10th at 7:30pm - "Kings Oak" by Anne Rivers Siddons

October 15th at 7:30pm - "Screwtape Letters" by C. S. Lewis

November 12th at 7:00pm - "For One More Day" by Mitch Albom
