The blotter
Controlled substance

Bath village police last week charged Cassandra S. Levens, 19, of 105 Seyle Terrace, Rochester with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The arrest stems from a four month investigation into the sale of cocaine in the Bath area.

Levens was arraigned in Bath village court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail pending a further court appearance.

Police say they are continuing investigations into the local sale of narcotics and request anyone with information to call 776- 2375.
