Six years ago, the world changed for many when four planes, operated by terrorists, hit the World Trade Center, Pentagon and a Pennsylvania farm. Regardless of age, the date Sept. 11, 2001, remains ingrained into our collective memories. For adults, the aftermath and eventual war on terror are another chapter in our lives. But for students growing up under the shadow of Sept. 11, the day has made a tremendous impact on their lives.
