NAFTA treaty a disaster for US
To the Editor,

I read with interest the letter by Rowland Mathews about impeaching president Bush. Although I see possibilities for impeachment, it wouldn't be for the reason that Mr. Mathews gives. What other reason could there be? Read on and I will tell you.

While the President has been guarding the United States with the Iraqi war, he has been selling our country, the United State of America, out the back door with Mexico and Canada.

In 2005, he met with President Fox of Mexico, and the prime Minister of Canada at Baylor University to make plans for a Super Highway(s) between Mexico, USA and Canada. This was done without any input from the USA government and the American people. It will be four football fields wide and will run from Texas, through Kansas City, Missouri and Canada. After they are built, they will become toll roads that you will have to pay to use. And guess what, the toll money will go to Spanish, not American coffers. Bush also met this year with Mexico and Canada earlier this year but how much of that was reported?

A terminal will be built in Kansas City for the NAFTA Highway but Mexico wouldn't go along with it, unless the land it was on became sovereign Mexican soil. The NAFTA superhighway will be built by Cintra, a Spanish company, which will use eminent domain to take the land needed from private citizens to build the highways. They were supposed to start this year, 2007.

Rudy Giuliani's law firm is representing Cintra in these "Emminant Domain" cases against the private citizens. He also doesn't believe being illegal should be a crime and that it should not be. Therefore I have decided that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani under any circumstances, even though Guliani, as mayor of NYC, led the NYC through 9/11.

I am in favor of the USA getting out of the NAFTA agreement with Mexico, and Canada. I also think we should consider getting the USA out of the United Nations. As I said earlier, I am also in support of impeaching President Bush for not consulting Congress and the American people about his meetings with Mexico and Canada, when his decisions will be affecting millions for years. Those types of decisions should not be made by one person without any other input.

I don't want a North American Union. And I don't believe that you do either. You should read Jerome Corsi's latest book - " The Late Great USA."

I am proud to be an American despite the things that could be better, and I appreciate my heritage and I don't want to lose it. If you are for your community, you need to become aware of what is going on, otherwise it may be too late.
