Muller a diligent town supervisor
To the Editor,

I went to the Village office (opposite the Post Office Bath) on Sept. 6, 2007 for some advice. While there I decided that I would complain to some one about the drainage ditch in front of my home (7124 Snyder Hill Road, Bath), which had not been cleaned even though I had gone to the office, been given a phone number to call, which I did and was promised action many moons ago.

Looking around I saw a familiar face, went into the room and presented my complaint. We recognized each other almost immediately. The gentleman was no other than Fred Muller. He knew me from my letters to our newspaper and TV interview and I had seen him presiding over Town meetings.

After Mr. Muller promised to talk to some one about the drainage ditch (he came to the office I went to next and told me that he had spoken to Scott who will take care of the ditch) we started talking. His desk was piled high with papers. I am delighted to share the information that like a good public servant Mr. Muller was conscientiously working on our presentations on Wal-Mart.

Let us hope that our village and small businessmen would be saved from the depredations attendant upon a Wal-Mart in our vicinity.

It would be in fitness of things if the readers would join me in complimenting Mr. Muller in working hard in public interest.
