BATH - Five Star Bank recently presented a donation of $500 to Pro Action's C.H.A.M.P. program, "Caring Hearts and Minds of Pro Action," during a ceremony at the bank's Bath branch event.

Jeff Kenefick, Five Star Bank Regional President, along with Five Star Bank's Rhonda Sweet and Pam Colomaio, Bath Branch Managers, recently presented a check to Laura Rossman, Pro Action's C.H.A.M.P. program Associate Director and Amey Rusak, Recruitment/Training Manager.

"Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, Inc. would like to thank Five Star Bank for their continued support and dedication to the CHAMP program and to our community as a whole," said Rusak.

Rossman noted that the donation would be designated to serve the educational needs for children in the area.

"Five Star Bank is proud to support community organizations that help children in the communities we serve learn and grow," said Kenefick.

Pro Action promotes the creation of quality family life, selfsufficiency and the ability to thrive for all people in Steuben and Yates Counties. Five Star Bank selected Pro Action's C.H.A.M.P. program to receive a donation of $500 in keeping with the bank's corporate charitable giving program, with primary focus on children and education. Both Bath branches also held a fundraiser during August for an employee "dress down" day and raised an additional $200 for Pro Action's C.H.A.M.P. program.
